Privacy Policy

Prior to your first appointment, you will be required to complete a confidential health history form online. This form must be updated once every two years or any time there are significant changes to your health history (i.e. surgery, major illness).

The information in your file can only be released with your consent or as required by law. In order to best serve you, I may discuss your case with the other healthcare providers involved in your care, always with your consent.

Cancellation Policy

As a sole practitioner, 100% of my income comes from my valued clients. When you cancel on short notice, my livelihood is jeopardized. You are also taking an appointment away from someone else who could benefit from my care.

I have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy.

  • If you cancel, reschedule, or shorten your appointment with less than 24 hours' notice, for any reason, the card on file will be charged 50% of the treatment cost.
  • Missed or No-Show appointments are subject to the full session fee.
  • If you’re 30 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled.

One exception: If you fill your spot with someone else, I will waive the fee. Please notify me as soon as possible in this event.

Appointment Times

Please note that the time you have booked is the length of your entire appointment, not just the hands-on massage time.

During your first visit, I conduct a thorough intake interview where I cover your health history, your goals, and perform any orthopedic assessments that may be required for safe and effective treatment. We will discuss a treatment plan together and I obtain verbal consent so there are never any surprises during your massage. Every treatment begins with a quick health check-in and any necessary orthopedic assessments.

I do my best to maximize your hands-on time, but please be aware that it isn't always the full length of the appointment time. You may expect up to 15 minutes for the intake interview at your first visit.

For more hands-on time, I always recommend booking at least 75 minutes.

Refusal of Service

For safety purposes, I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment at any time. Reasons may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • intoxication
  • derogatory or bigoted comments
  • sexual or romantic advances
  • illness or infectious conditions
  • contagious or unidentified skin conditions (ex. rashes or mysterious bug bites) If you develop a skin condition, please clear it with your doctor before receiving massage.

Thank you for keeping my home practice safe.
